Passadinha

with Elsa Johanna Mohr

The singer Elsa Johanna Mohr and the guitarist Flávio Nunes dedicate themselves to the colorful diversity of Brazilian music with well-known Brazilian classics such as "Carinhoso" or "Tempo de Amor" as well as with their own compositions, thus creating a broad overview of a culturally rich and beautiful country. Now they present their joint album "Passadinha", which was released in January 2023 in the 96th episode of "Jazz thing Next Generation" on the Double Moon/Bertus label.

Rythm & melody

Choro Workshop

This interactive workshop sets out to allow participants to develop a deeper understanding of the different rhythms in Brazilian music.
Participants are encouraged to experience the Brazilian "groove" by playing their own instrument, but are also invited to play light rhythmic motifs on other instruments (especially percussion instruments) to better understand the interplay between melody - and rhythm instruments.

For all instruments, advanced learners and beginners.
